We break down the intense and harrowing moment a Kentucky State Trooper is shot in the leg during a routine traffic stop. After a passenger opens fire and steals a vehicle to flee the scene, the wounded trooper is left fighting for his life.
Thanks to the heroic actions of Good Samaritans who immediately rushed to the scene, bystanders successfully used their own belts as makeshift tourniquets to stop the bleeding until medics arrived.
